Clean and powerful, this Colorado-grown naked barley showcases the pure expression of the grain. With the hull naturally separating at harvest, it offers a smooth, tannin-free character. Ideal for distillers using on-grain fermentation for Single Malt or any spirit that would benefit from reduced tannin as well as lagers, Kölsch or pale ales. Due to the lack of husk, it may lead to poor lauter filtration; we recommend avoiding high grist percentages without the use of rice hulls. Malted from Buck variety 2-row spring barley.
