Heavy duty lid for 6 gallon bucket. Features a removable rubber gasket, and a tear strip with strong plastic tabs. The tear strip must be removed before the lid can be taken off the bucket.

The lid with gasket and tear strip will seal the bucket airtight, ideal for fermentation, transportation, and storage.

These buckets are made from polypropylene, which is less porous than other types of plastic buckets, leading to a decreased risk of harboring pathogens that can contaminate your wine, beer, mead, cider, or other type of fermented beverage.

Both versions of the bucket come with pre-molded threading for accommodating a spigot. The Drilled Bucket has a hole already drilled for the spigot, while the Solid Bucket does not. This is a big improvement in both functionality and aesthetics from our 6.5 and 7.8 gallon buckets.

The new bucket also has a graduation scale, in both gallons and liters, which is molded directly into the side of the bucket.
