Spike Steam Condensing Lid – 10 Gallons

Built to transform steam into liquid during the boil, the Spike Steam Condensing Lid (SCL) lets you brew inside without worrying about moisture collecting on your walls and ceiling, which can cause mold issues. The SCL also easily replaces going through the trouble of installing a hood for indoor brewing.

These lids are not only designed to fit Spike kettles but will also work with most other kettle brands on the market.

Compared to boiling without a lid, our SCL has a 50% reduced boil-off rate and results in a ~6% total boil-off.

Spike CF15 TC-100 Bundle With Heat (For 15 gallon Unitank)

Our TC100 temp control system will manage both cooling and heating of your Spike Conical. The digital controller’s temp probe will feed into the included thermowell on our CF Series Conical. Also included is a specially fitted neoprene jacket which features reinforced port holes to reduce the chance of ripping during install. Last (and maybe the coolest item) is our special insulated tubing. This almost eliminates tube cooling losses and will prevent your cooling lines from sweating all over your floor!

Cooling:
When the temp in the conical rises above the set point it will turn on the pump submerged in your cold water reservoir (bucket of ice water, dorm fridge, aquarium or glycol chiller, DIY AC chiller, etc). This will pump cold water/glycol through the temp control coil, which mounts to the lid, cooling your beer until it reaches the controller set point.

Heating:
When the temp in the conical falls below the controller set point the optional heater will kick on warming the unit up.

The extended bracing shelf now widens the footprint of the Flex making it more stable. It is a recommended addition when going vertical with the leg extensions or mobile with casters.

Our conicals come equipped with this 100% sanitary sample valve. Taking samples has never been so easy; simply twist the valve handle to slowly draw out a sample from your fermenter for a gravity reading. The one downside is you might end up with lower final volumes due to how easy it is to take taste tests

Our carb stone is designed to attach to the outside of the racking port butterfly valve. This means the carb stone can be installed when you need it and won’t be sitting inside the tank during the entire fermentation process. This eliminates the chance for the stone to become clogged.
