These Oxygen Absorbing beer bottle caps have a special liner that absorbs oxygen in the bottle's head space. This helps reduce the oxidation that happens during the bottling process, keeps your home brewed beer tasting fresher, and can extend it's shelf life.

Important to note: It is recommended that you only sanitize as many caps as you'll require at the time of bottling. The oxygen-absorbing agent is activated when the cap gets wet. If wetted caps are saved for later use, they'll still function as a normal cap, but the oxygen absorbing agent may be depleted.

28mm P.E.T. Bottle Screw Caps 24/Bag

KegLand's 500ml Amber PET bottles come with reusable screw caps, but these replacements are available if you prefer to use new caps with each bottling run. The locking ring is left behind on the bottle neck the first time the cap is screwed off, so if you're using fresh caps you'll want to remove the locking ring from the previous cap.

These caps can also be used to replace the threaded caps included on the lid of the FermZilla fermenter.
